I fell in love with photography in High School. I joined the U.S. Marines and after two tours began to pursue a career in photography. In the mid 80's, I worked as a professional commercial and portrait photographer. As much as I enjoyed the work, life had a different calling for me and I entered law enforcement. In 2009, I was fortunate enough to move to Houghton, Michigan. This beautiful area inspired me to return to photography. Initially, I focused (no pun intended) my work on landscapes. However, my true passion has always been portrait work. I have been fortunate enough to learn and be guided by one of the best photographers in Los Angeles, California... Mr. Michael Helms. Mr. Helms has challenged and inspired me in both the technical and artistic sides of photography. My goal is to capture specific emotions, moments, feelings... I hope you enjoy my work. Thanks for visiting my website.
